Network is Partner with EuroDNS . EuroDNS is now an Official Accredited ‘.EU’ Registrar’, and
is accepting applications for EU Domain Names. Such applications will be treated as provisional requests until the Registrant/End
User terms and conditions, and the full rules for the Sunrise Period have been published by EURid.Once these conditions are published and the full rules for Sunrise are
known, Eurodns is required to obtain the Customer’s express confirmation that they you can comply with these terms and
conditions. Even though actual registrations will not be submitted to EURid until the last quarter of 2005 (November) for
Sunrise, and in early 2006 for open registrations, applications start now. Bearing in mind that the ‘First Come First
Served’ rule always applies, your application and payment will establish the sequence in which we will be submitting
your application to the Registry. Application
requirements for ‘.EU’ DomainsAn
Applicant for a ‘.eu’ Domain, whether during the Sunrise period or later, must meet the geographical requirements
applicable to all .eu domain name holders as follows: - Companies and organizations having their registered office, central administration or
principal place of business within the European Community;
- Individuals - natural persons – resident within the European Community.
Applicants not able to show this direct link to Europe will not be considered.
Charges
Easylandia EuroDNS will charge 18 € per Domain Name for one
year’s Registration. Sunrise
Priority for Holders of Existing Rights – Trademarks, Company Names etc. The
Sunrise period allows those with specific rights to a given Domain Name to obtain a name that exactly matches their trademark
or company name before the Registry opens up for ALL applications. The Sunrise period consists of two phases each lasting two months. An extra charge will be made for evaluating
a Sunrise period application. The level of this fee will depend on the category of applicant below.
