Easylandia International Network is a Partner of EuroDNS . EuroDNS is now an Official
Accredited ‘.EU’ Registrar’, and is accepting applications for EU Domain Names. Such applications will be
treated as provisional requests until the Registrant/End User terms and conditions, and the full rules for the Sunrise Period
have been published by EURid.
Once these conditions are published and the full rules for Sunrise are known, Eurodns is required
to obtain the Customer’s express confirmation that they you can comply with these terms and conditions. Even though
actual registrations will not be submitted to EURid until the last quarter of 2005 (November) for Sunrise, and in early 2006
for open registrations, applications start now. Bearing in mind that the ‘First Come First Served’ rule always
applies, your application and payment will establish the sequence in which we will be submitting your application to the Registry.
Application requirements for ‘.EU’ Domains
An Applicant for a ‘.eu’ Domain, whether during the Sunrise period or later, must meet
the geographical requirements applicable to all .eu domain name holders as follows:
- Companies and organizations having their registered office, central administration or principal place
of business within the European Community;
- Individuals - natural persons – resident within the European Community.
Applicants not able to show this direct link to Europe will not be considered.
Charges
EuroDNS will charge 18 € per Domain Name for one year’s Registration.
Sunrise Priority for Holders of Existing Rights – Trademarks, Company Names etc.
The Sunrise period allows those with specific rights to a given Domain Name to obtain a name that exactly
matches their trademark or company name before the Registry opens up for ALL applications.
The Sunrise period consists of two phases each lasting two months. An extra charge will be made for
evaluating a Sunrise period application. The level of this fee will depend on the category of applicant below.
